Economics, March 12

Economics-03/11/13-Monday

Appetizer: What is the most important thing you learned in economics? Why? Remember, there are 5 main standards: fundamentals, microeconomics, macroeconomics, international, and personal finance.

Main Course:

Final Exam is on Friday; you will be given a review sheet with a 4x6 notecard to create a legitimate “cheat sheet” for your final common assessment (final exam). You may not loan yours to anyone else. It is their responsibility to create and remember theirs on Friday.

You will create a poster identifying 50 symbols or pictures (10 per standard=50!) You may use both sides of your lineless paper.

Fundamentals, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International, & Personal Finance

This will be due tomorrow!

I have not put in EOCT scores, because I do not have everyone’s score yet.

Questions??

Economics EOY Video Project

Staker

Pick a standard to review from our economic standards. (Each of you has your own copy.)

Create an instructional video on the standard that included key concepts, terminology, and images that reflect the standard.

It can be a number of videos-a “recorded” flip book, an infomercial, a campaign type commercial, a video like the ones we have viewed from YouTube, a recording of an original song on the topic, recording of an original poem on the concept.

Requirements:

Minimum-1:30

Maximum-4 minutes

Groups up to 4 people

All members must have specified roles and are participants

Upload video to YouTube and e-mail me the link: karen.staker@cobbk12.org

Assessment:

20 Points=Creativity

50 Points=Key terms and concepts

30 Points=Effectiveness-video is easy to follow, concepts are clear to understand, and is an effective tool for other students to use as review material.
